CHOOSING A LOCATION

We want to know if we could chose 2 or 3 locations close to each other and then you could take a look when you come and decide which would work best--if that is ok with you? You can maximize the time during your session by selecting the location that you like the best before I arrive so we can big shooting. You are welcome to add more time to your session if you prefer that I choose the location for you.

MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

Would you be able to shoot at all three locations? Yes! We add a $25-50 travel fee per drivable location. Keep in mind, traveling will account for time included in your session. Sessions that run overtime will be billed hourly after the session ends and paid before the client’s final photos are sent.

TIME OF DAY

We heard that late afternoon light is the best for photography? Correct! Daylight Savings begins on the second Sunday in March and reverts to standard time on the first Sunday in November. Sunset during daylight savings is usually around 7:45pm. Typically begin shooting about 2 hours before that.

What time we should begin our late afternoon/sunset session? No later than 5:15pm or 5:30pm start time should work best for a 2hr session during Daylight Savings Time.

WEATHER

If the weather doesn't cooperate would it be easy enough to switch to an inside photo? Plan B for sessions are always planned prior to shooting. If the session MUST happen on a specific day, then yes, we will have to move the outdoor session inside in case of rain.

We will arrange an indoor location as Plan B prior to the day of shooting. If you can be flexible with your session date, then the Plan B will simply be set on a different day to shoot.


PRINTS OF THE DIGITAL IMAGES

We get 30 hi-res digital images. Can we use these to make printed photos? Yes! The final edited digital images you receive, if desired, are meant to be shared online and printed. For professional lab-quality prints, I offer print packages and a la carte through Zenfolio and BayPhoto ProLab or you may send the files to your favorite printer.

We aren't that interested in using them on social media. The final gift would be a larger framed printed photo of the group. Great! We also offer Gallery Wrap Canvas and even Glass photos in various sizes and groupings as well!


GRAPHIC DESIGN FAQ

How quickly can I get my final design? Depending on the number of pages of your design, turn-around time for your final file after your approval can be as soon as the next business day. Add additional turn-around time for additional pages of design.

Important to note: We may give clients anywhere from 1 to 3 options to choose from your first design proposal. After we send your initial proof or project proposal, we will wait for your email reply letting us know which of the options to move forward with changes. You may choose one of the design options and request changes made to that chosen design. The longer a client’s reply takes, the longer that request will take to be processed.

Wow, you work quickly! If I want to change something in the proof you just sent me, can I have that change back the same day? While we would absolutely love to make same-day changes or even live changes with clients, realistically our standard turn-around for change requests are a minimum of 1-2 business days. Of course, if possible, we can do our best to help in cases of true extreme design emergencies.

If I email you a change request at 6pm EST on a Friday, can I get the design on Saturday? Requests sent at the end of business day or after normal business hours will be processed on the following business day and updated files are emailed back within our standard minimum 1-2 business days. Add additional turn-around time for additional pages of design. If your hard deadline falls on a Saturday for example, your APPROVAL must be emailed to us no later than Thursday evening for us to process your request on Friday so you will have your final files for your hard deadline on Saturday.

How does a typical design get processed? After you fill out the form on this contact page, Tiffany Rachel will discuss your project with you and send you an estimated quote based on your request. Because digital design is intellectual property legally, the client first approves their estimate and the invoice for the project must be paid in full up front, as we guarantee our work. We hope you have already seen samples of our work and trust our ability to deliver the content you expect.
During our initial consultation and obtaining all assets from the client prior to design, this will ensure we produce a product that exceed our clients’ expectations.

After I approve the estimate and pay the invoice, what else should I email you? After your payment, you must submit all digital assets and collateral pertaining to your project including:

  • Copy/Written Content

  • Fonts

  • Logos

  • Branding Guidelines

  • High-Resolution Images

  • Links

  • Detailed instructions

If I need a flyer design, do you write all the content on the flyer as well? As content on the flyer represents our clients’ businesses, our clients must supply the written content or “copy”. We include proofreading as a courtesy service.

My logo is old and I can’t get in touch with the original designer. Can you fix it? Yes we can! We can replicate any logo and make it the highest resolution. We call this Logo Vectorization and we charge $100 per existing logo for this service.

I need a new business card. Can you put my company’s name in a nice font? The company’s logo is one of the assets we require in order to begin your project. If a client does not have a logo we can create one for $500 including two brand new options for you to choose from.
